Primary topic: dhol player Columbus Ohio

## Summary
Both DJ Wale founders, DJ Ravi and Kaka G, play live dhol. We bring dhol to baraats, grand entrances, sangeets, mehndis, Lohri and Vaisakhi parties and receptions across central Ohio, and we can play dhol over the DJ's mix for a bigger sound on the dance floor.

## Overview
Nothing lifts a room like a dhol. A live dhol on top of a bhangra track turns a good dance floor into the moment everyone films.

Because our dhol players are also our DJ and emcee, the dhol is part of the plan rather than an add-on that shows up and leaves. We time it with the music: the baraat, the couple's entrance, the peak of the reception.

## What's included
- **Baraat:** Dhol leading the procession with portable sound.
- **Entrances:** Dhol for the wedding party or couple entrance.
- **Dance floor:** Dhol played over the DJ mix during bhangra.
- **Mehndi and jaggo:** Dhol for family dances and the jaggo procession.
- **Festivals:** Lohri, Vaisakhi, Holi and garba nights.

## Where dhol fits in a wedding
1. **Procession** (Baraat): Live dhol leads the groom's procession.
2. **Grand entrance** (Entrance): Dhol brings in the couple.
3. **Bhangra break** (Peak): Dhol over the mix at the peak of the night.

## Why live dhol beats a recording
A live dhol player moves with the crowd, follows the dancers and lifts a room in a way a recording cannot. With a DJ underneath, the dhol adds a live layer to bhangra and Bollywood tracks, and the room feels like a celebration rather than a playlist.

## Dhol and DJ, one team
Because our dhol players are the same people running the music and the program, we never miss a cue. The emcee introduces the couple, the dhol starts, and the DJ drops the entrance track on the beat.

## Music
Dhol works best with bhangra, Punjabi pop and baraat anthems, and it also sits well over garba and Bollywood dance tracks.

## Planning tips
- Plan dhol moments in your run of show so the dhol player is in place on time.
- Ask the venue about dhol volume in smaller rooms.
