Bollywood nights & desi parties

DJ Wale runs Bollywood nights, desi parties and ticketed events in Columbus, including Bollywood Halloween. We play Bollywood, bhangra, Punjabi, Telugu and desi hip-hop, with lighting, effects and an emcee who keeps the crowd up until close.

A ticketed Bollywood night is a different job from a wedding. The crowd is there to dance from the first track, and the set has to build and peak like a club night while still hitting the songs everyone came to sing.

We present our own events, such as Bollywood Halloween with a costume contest, and we can bring the same energy to events for promoters, student groups and private hosts.

For promoters and venues, we provide the full production: sound, moving heads, effects, LED walls and an emcee who runs contests and announcements.

How it runs, step by step

• Warm-up: Bollywood and Punjabi favorites as the room fills.
• Energy: Faster bhangra and remixes.
• Moments: CO2 blasts, contests and the biggest songs.
• Last songs: Singalong classics to end the night.

Production for venues and promoters

For ticketed nights we bring club-level production: a full sound system, moving heads, CO2 jets, cold sparks for peak moments, and an LED wall for visuals and sponsor branding. We plan the night with the promoter, from doors to last call, and work with the venue's staff on load-in, power and timing.

Private desi parties

House parties and private hall rentals get the same energy at the right scale. We build a set around the host's crowd, take requests, and add effects or an emcee if the party has a birthday, engagement or anniversary moment.

The music

Bollywood dance hits and remixes, bhangra, Punjabi pop, Telugu hits and desi hip-hop, built and peaked like a club night.

Planning tips

• Plan your effects moments with us; CO2 at the peak is a crowd favorite.
• Book production early for holiday weekends like Halloween and New Year's Eve.
