DJ Wale provides respectful audio for nikah ceremonies and music for mehndi, dholki, walima and Pakistani wedding receptions across central Ohio. We match the music to each family's preferences, from quiet ceremony audio and nasheeds to a full Punjabi and Bollywood dance floor at the mehndi.

Muslim and Pakistani weddings vary a lot from family to family. Some want a quiet nikah with clear audio and no music at all; others want a full mehndi with dhol and a dance floor. We ask first and plan around what your family is comfortable with.

For the nikah, we focus on clear microphones for the imam and families, and quiet background audio if requested. For the mehndi and dholki, we bring dhol and Punjabi, Urdu and Bollywood favorites. For the walima, we keep it elegant and conversational, with a dance floor only if you want one.

Kaka G emcees in English, Hindi and Punjabi, and we adjust the program and language to your guests.

How it runs, step by step

  • Ask first: We confirm your family's preferences on music, dancing and language for each event.
  • Celebrate: Dhol, Punjabi and Urdu songs and Bollywood favorites.
  • Ceremony audio: Microphones for the imam and families; music only if you want it.
  • Reception: Elegant background music, speeches and an optional dance floor.

The music

Punjabi and Urdu wedding songs, Bollywood favorites, qawwali-inspired tracks and nasheeds on request, and Top 40 for friends if you want it. We follow your family's guidelines exactly.

Planning tips

  • Tell us each event's guidelines on music and dancing; they often differ between nikah, mehndi and walima.
  • If seating is separated, let us know so we can place speakers and microphones for both sides.
  • Plan the mehndi dhol moment for when the bride or couple enters.
