Cultural festivals & community events

DJ Wale provides DJ, emcee and stage audio for cultural festivals, association events, temple functions and community celebrations across central Ohio. We handle performance cueing, microphones for speakers and live music, and a dance set to close the event.

Community events usually combine a long stage program with a party: performances, speeches, award presentations and then dancing. The audio has to work for a sitar on stage and for a packed dance floor.

We provide stage microphones, performance cueing and an emcee to keep a long program on time, then switch to a dance set for the second half.

How it runs, step by step

• Running order: We build the program order with organizers and collect tracks.
• Performances: Cued tracks, live mics and quick transitions.

Long programs, kept on time

Community programs often have twenty or more items: speeches, children's dances, music performances, award presentations and sponsor thank-yous. We build the running order with organizers, test every track in advance, and keep a printed cue sheet at the booth so performers walk on to their music without delay.

Indoor halls and outdoor festivals

From temple halls and school auditoriums to outdoor festival grounds, we size and place the sound system for the space, provide microphones for stage and announcements, and bring weather and power plans for outdoor sites.

The music

Performance tracks as supplied, then Bollywood, garba and bhangra for the dance portion.
