DJ Wale plays New Year's Eve parties in Columbus and nearby, from private parties to ticketed events. We run the countdown on the mic, time CO2 blasts and cold sparks to midnight, and play Bollywood, bhangra, Top 40 and hip-hop.
New Year's Eve is all about one moment, and everything builds to it. We plan the night so the energy peaks at midnight, with a countdown on the mic and effects timed to the second.
We play private house parties, banquet halls and ticketed Bollywood New Year's events, with full production for bigger rooms.
How it runs, step by step
- Warm-up: Dinner and lounge music.
- Dance: The floor fills.
- Countdown: Countdown, CO2 and cold sparks.
- Party: Biggest songs until close.
Planning the midnight moment
Midnight needs planning: a clock everyone can see or hear, a countdown on the mic, the right song on the stroke of twelve, and effects timed to the first beat. We rehearse the cue sheet and synchronize with your venue's timing.
Ticketed and private nights
For ticketed New Year's Eve events we bring full production and work with promoters on timing and contests. For private parties we scale the setup to the space and keep the same countdown moment.
The music
Bollywood, bhangra, Top 40 and hip-hop, building to midnight.
